SUMMARY:Community Walk and Talk
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday 7th August at 4:00 pm for a Community Walk and Talk to view the landscape impacted by the proposed development.  \nWe will meet at the entrance of Viking Field\, just off Tanners Row. The walk will finish at the Leathern Bottel pub around one hour later. \nWe plan to start in Viking Field and move through Leslie Sears field to Blagrove and Doles Lanes\, showing the size and location of the proposed development and highlighting the countryside\, fields and hedgerows that will be torn up. The land currently hosts a rich diversity of wildlife\, including deer\, badgers\, hedgehogs\, woodpeckers\, owls and many more. It has remained unspoilt; however\, a 375-house development is proposed by Berkeley Homes\, which the residents of the area oppose. We will answer questions you might have during the walk.
