In 2013 the residents of Evendons Lane and the surrounding area gathered as a Residents Association to try to maintain the local environment and help ensure that any development on land surrounding Leslie Sears and Viking field was appropriate.
Now in 2022 Berkeley Homes is putting in a planning application to build approximately 375 homes on land beside Blagrove lane.
We want to give the community a voice and together scrutinise any application. There will be a meeting to discuss the development on Tuesday 3rd of May, 8:15 pm at the Evendons Primary School, Main Hall. We hope to see many of you there.
Can I ask that the residents of Oak Drive and Holmes Crescent are not forgotten in any future discussions on the proposed development. Both will be adversely affected as these roads will be the preferred route to Lidl and Tesco and possibly schools. ?
I was on the 2013 EARA and whilst not wishing to be a member of the new committee, I would be willing to distribute any leaflets in this area
