Berkeley Homes want to build 375 homes off the Barkham Road, opposite the Leathern Bottle Pub, to Evendons Lane. They have not yet submitted a planning permission request and they are holding an information meeting at the Evendons school on Friday. 27th of May 2022, from 6.30 pm until 8 pm.
What you can do
We would as many residents as possible to go along. Some key points to consider.
- This is not a formal consultation that the council will carry out once planning permission is applied for
- This meeting is for Berkeley to try to gain support for the project
- The plans currently on display could change significantly from those on display now, once planning is applied for. There may be additional works not yet included
- The developer has put a survey online which forces the responder to select positive to Berkeley in response to questions. If you don’t want to do this, but complete the survey, please ask for a paper copy at the meeting, which will allow you to work around this restriction
